UPDATE: Shooting victim dies

Police have confirmed that a 30-year-old man who was shot last night has died.

The man was rushed to surgery after being shot while walking through a track in the area of Odessa McClean Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael.

His name has not been released, but police said he was shot twice, in the back and chest, around 9:30 p.m.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the injured man, who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
