BARBADOS NATIONAL BANK (BNB) introduces a new concept to banking in Barbados today with the opening of its new branch in Holetown, St James.

The novel approach will incorporate traditional Barbadian concepts with ultra-modern banking procedures, all in the exotic setting of the BNB's ninth and newest branch in the historic town.

Located at Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, the bank has introduced "banking on the verandah".

Due to the size and specialised nature of the location, the minimum requirement to open an account at the branch will be $1000 and only requests for loans over $10 000 will be accommodated.

BNB's general manager of retail banking, Margaret Pile, promised that the new branch would go way beyond customers' expectations.

Pile said there would be no queuing, and coffee, tea or juice will be served on the verandah while a dedicated premium-service teller who identifies you by name and handles your transactions.
