ROSEAU, Dominica – The WCK Band, one of the region's popular music groups, says it is considering legal action against the Antigua Government following its detention at the V.C. Bird International Airport.

Immigration authorities held the band for more than two hours on Sunday after it arrived in the island to perform at an opposition Antigua Labour Party (ALP) rally scheduled for Monday.

Lead singer Derrick 'Rah' Peters said no reasons were given by airport authorities for the detention.

"They said they were not at liberty to give us that information," Peters told the media yesterday.
