The two teams are scheduled to face off at Guaracara Park in Pointe-a-Pierre today, but Barbados' preparation has been hampered by missing luggage and unprepared practice venues.
Barbados team manager Livingstone Coppin told CMC Sports the team had had a rough time since arriving in the country on Tuesday.
He said 16 pieces of luggage had gone missing and the team had missed out on valuable physical and net sessions.
A blow for Barbados is the absence of Test players Ryan Hinds and Pedro Collins.
The local team have also suffered a major setback with the withdrawal of their two Test players all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin because of injury.
The pair have been replaced by West Indies youth batsman Darren Bravo and wicketkeeper/batsman Gibran Mohammed.
The match starts at 10 a.m.
