The lights are in place, the cameras are in position and cricket fans will be awaiting the action tomorrow at 1:45 p.m. in the KFC Cup West Indies limited-overs competition.

All day yesterday, there was non-stop movement at the 3Ws Oval at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI), as staff there got ready for the Final 4 of biggest One-Day competition in the region.

The matches will be carried "live" on television across the region via the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) and yesterday preparation of the equipment was the main focus. There will be seven cameras set-up in four camera positions and these are already in place.

A large video board, similar to the one used at Kensington Oval during the Cricket World Cup, has also been set-up and it will carry replays, and advertisements as well as act as a scoreboard.

Tomorrow's opening match will be historic. It will signal the first time that the regional competition will be played under lights and promises to be a festive occasion, when the unbeaten Jamaica face Guyana. On Friday Barbados meet defending champions Trinidad and Tobago in a bid to reach Sunday's final.

The Park and Ride system which was in place during Cricket World Cup earlier this year will be in place for the Final 4 of the KFC Cup.

It will cost fans $5 to board the shuttle provided by the Transport Board to the 3Ws Oval, where they can catch a glimpse of the matches which will be played tomorrow, Friday and Sunday.

The parking will be at the Montgomery Pasture in Cave Hill and the Barbados Industrial Development Corporation car park on Harbour Road.

Fans have been given the assurance that there will be adequate security and lighting at the two parking spots. Persons entering the campus for business outside of cricket have been advised to use the entrance and exit on Free Hill.
