What a mess! Thursday's heavy rainfall which caused severe flooding in some areas, left many Barbadians in a state of despair. Shorma James, who rents an apartment at Plantain Walk, Clapham St. Michael was one of those left in shock after nearly a foot of water flooded her basement apartment. James and her daughter lost almost all their household items including clothes, shoes, chairs, a radio set, their chest of drawers, stove and electrical items.
