RIVER ROAD. Some parts of Barbados experienced heavy showers yesterday for the second straight day and the north of the island again held centre stage. The Meteorological Office issued a flood watch and later upgraded it to a flood warning during the afternoon, advising residents in low-lying areas to stay alert and make the necessary preparations. Here in Road View, St Peter, water was about three to four feet high and motorists had a difficult time navigating their way along the West Coast yesterday.(Picture by Rawle Culbard.)
