Speaking to the DAILY NATION yesterday, he said it was being pushed across the world to pressure governments to enact legislation to decriminalise homosexuality.
Marshall said that unfortunately, it had filtered down to the Caribbean.
He said he received reports from educators and school guidance counsellors admitting they were gay and appearing to be happy with homosexual situations.
"We see the media being used by gay lobbyists to push this agenda through movies and sitcoms where we see homosexual situations portrayed as normal and acceptable, and this is engrained in the minds of young people who watch [them] . . ..
"There is this growing acceptance in the society of seeing the gay lifestyle as an alternative," he added.
Marshall said the upcoming conference on Sex, Sexuality And Homosexuality: Engaging The Truth, slated for April 27 to 29 at Sherbourne Conference Centre, would seek to address this issue.
He said panellists for the event were former homosexuals Patricia Lawrence and Reverend Darryl Foster, executive director and board member, respectively, of Exodus Global Alliance.
Lawrence, who is Canadian, and Foster, an American, will be preaching the message that it is possible to change from homosexuality through Jesus Christ. Admission is free.
Marshall said Exodus was made up of former lesbians and homosexuals who were now dedicated to helping others change their lifestyle.
"They are dedicated to changing lives, keeping young people from getting involved in homosexuality, equipping parents and educators on how best to raise their children and keeping them away from being engrossed in the homosexual lifestyle."
He also called for people to reach out to homosexuals instead of bashing them.
