"To achieve international accreditation from the European Association for the Treatment of Addiction, one of the major accreditation agencies, Verdun must meet
high standards
of organisational, professional and operational performance," said its chief executive officer Peter Boos.
The board of Verdun House has therefore contracted Clouds, a leading residential treatment centre from England, for a two
to three-year period
to bring Verdun up
to world class standard.
Clouds runs both residential and non-residential treatment services, teaches degree courses in addictions counselling and
supports families.
Clinical director
of Verdun, Jacqui
Lewis, recently paid a familiarisation visit to Clouds and other chemical dependency treatment centres in England. (PR)
