Drive for excellence by staff

MCENEARNEY QUALITY is continuing its drive to expose its staff to the highest quality of training to continue to propel the organisation to the top of the car dealership in Barbados.

The team of service technicians and mechanics recently completed an intensive two-week technical improvement course with international automotive trainer Darren Manzari. The course focused on improving the technical and diagnostic skills of the McEnearney service centre team.

Manzari, who is an automotive engineer and consultant, sees the new training as integral in the overall improvement of automotive care on the island.

"We have achieved what most automotive organisations internationally aim for, that is to have the automotive repair team performing the same steps in their diagnostics. This will mean better service to all of the customers who enter the organisation," said Manzari.

Technical supervisor at the garage, Pedro Hinds, sees the new training as a win-win situation for both employees and customers. "The level of training that we have been exposed to gives us and the organisation the edge over our competitors. We are now better at diagnostics and completing the step by step process, as each person on the team will be taking the same steps to reach the goal," Hinds said. (PR)
