AFRICANS OFF TO CHURCH

On Day 2 of their limited freedom, some of the West Africans stranded here since February spent part of their time at church.

They attended the Sons of God Apostolic Church in Ealing Grove, Christ Church, yesterday.

Since being taken into the care of Government on April 8, the 30 plus Ghanaians and Nigerians have been staying at the Barbados Defence Force's base at Paragon, Christ Church.

However, on Saturday, Government allowed them conditional release. They will now be allowed out of the military base between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Officials in charge at Paragon reported that all returned by the appointed hour yesterday.
