Building contractor for the project, JADA Builders Inc, said the development, which started ten months ago, is scheduled to be completed in August 2009, and show units should be ready for viewing by prospective purchasers this summer.

They said the objective of the development is to contribute to the growth of tourism and development on the South Coast and is expected to employ up to 300 Barbadians and generate close to $85 million in foreign exchange.

"It is a milestone development, which represents the first time Government has partnered with a private company in a development of this nature."
