MOTHER'S DAY TREAT. In a celebratory run-up to Mother's Day on Sunday, 11 mothers – one from each parish – were treated to a sumptuous lunch yesterday at De Kitchen, Bay Street, St Michael. Today it will be their turn to display their culinary skills at the DaCosta Mannings branch in Speightstown where some of their cooking and baking will be on show from 8 a.m till 10 a.m. On Sunday the mothers, selected by the National Assistance Board, will be honoured at the Plantation Garden Theatre at a show entitled Mum, This One's For You, organised by veteran entertainer Desmond Weekes.
