The papers were on sale there for TT$5 000 (about BDS$1 667) from Wednesday and the exam was held on Thursday.
Senior manager with CXC Guy Hewitt told the SATURDAY SUN that based on the outcome of that decision they would decide how to proceed.
"With the investigations ongoing it would be irresponsible to say what our options are now," he said.
When asked about the occurrences of leaks, with papers having been leaked in 2005 in Guyana and in Trinidad before in the 1990s, Hewitt said when one considered that CXC administered 60 subjects for May and June spread across 16 territories, and involving 200 000 students, one had to appreciate that it was a major undertaking.
"We usually have a near-perfect record and it is unusual to have a breach but we are on top of it," he said. (WB)
