WASH BROOK can provide owners Faraway Stables and trainer Clayton Greenidge with a win
in today's feature event, the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. Trophy Condition, at the Garrison Savannah.

The 1 570-metres event carries prize money totalling $60 000, and Wash Brook's task has been made easier since top three-year-olds JakeJakeJake and Daylight Express have not got into the race.

The Clayton Greenidge-trained three-year-old will benefit from jockey Louis-Philippe Beuzelin's seven-pound apprentice claim, and with only 112 pounds to carry, Wash Brook should have no problem in turning back the challenge of his 11 opponents.

He has been a consistent sort, placing in most of his races to date despite not yet getting into the winner's enclosure.

In his last start, on April 12, he finished third behind Daylight Express and Messi over 1 570 metres.

Messi will be reopposing again tomorrow, but the selection will be receiving as much as 14 pounds from him and at these weights Wash Brook should win.

Wash Brook's stiffest competition should come from Messi, Lethal Liesel, Sprite, and Look For Wisdom.

Messi has also been very consistent and has won at 1 100 metres, but he is yet to win at 1 570 metres.

Lethal Liesel had a win and two seconds in her last three starts but all have been over 1 100 metres. She is blessed with some early speed but in her only attempt at 1 570 metres, on November 10, she finished fifth behind Look For Wisdom.

Sprite's last win came over 1 570 metres on November 3 but that was on soft going. He finished last behind I'mALuckyNative over the same distance on April 12 and will have to show considerable improvement to be a serious factor here.

Look For Wisdom's win on November 10 suggests that he must be considered, but the joint top-weight of 126 pounds could be his undoing.

Of the others, Preach To Me and Proud Bajan, both trained by Liz Deane, could make the race that more interesting but neither is likely to come in the top five.

The William Clarke-trained Fully Loaded looks the one to be on in the opening Lost In The Fog Trophy Condition; Copy That and Kingdora should chase the selection home.

Tripoli and Tom Dooley should fight out the finish to the Roses In May Trophy Condition, with the edge being given to the latter.

The Saratoga County Trophy Condition looks a straight fight between Van Helsing, which was just touched off last race day, and Smoking Dude. Van Helsing will be receiving 16 pounds from Smokin' Dude, so he is given the edge.
