The defending double-crown Carib Beer Series champions meet Barbados seeking to avenge a heavy defeat by 282 runs against Trinidad and Tobago at the Frank Worrell Centre at the St Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies.
That defeat, away from Jamaica, followed first innings points in their first two matches on home soil.
Additionally, Jamaica have failed to reach the semi-finals of the regional limited-overs tournament for the past two seasons when they played the preliminary phase in Guyana and Barbados.
Their up-and-down run on the road isn't much of a bother to captain Wavell Hinds.
"We just need to get ourselves in order," Hinds said yesterday after a practice session at Weymouth.
"Before that we've won games. Last year, we won in Barbados and in St Lucia. We've won games on the road.
"I think our guys are equipped to do the job. We have a fairly good team and people expect us to win every game. That is something we have to try and live up to."
All-rounder Gareth Breese was struck on his left elbow while facing balls from pacer Jermaine Lawson in the nets, but x-rays revealed only a bruise that should not rule him out of contention.
