Former Opposition Leader Mia Mottley last night charged that almost $1 million had been allocated to the Barbados Water Authority (BWA), yet nothing was delivered for that money.

During a mass meeting staged by the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) at Sayes Court, Christ Church, Mottley lambasted the governance of the ruling Democratic Labour Party (DLP) and took issue with its financial management.

She added that she was also unhappy with the $600 000 being spent on the Commission of Inquiry Into The Alexandra School, which she said was only airing dirty linen in public.
