SOME FANS didn’t give West Indies a chance of winning a single match in the tri-nation series.

Last night, they were probably eating their words.

Jason Holder’s men now have a 2-1 record after completing a hard fought four- wicket victory against Australia under lights at Warner Park in St Kitts to follow their first match triumph against South Africa in Guyana.

Given a hardly straightforward target of 266 to beat the world champions, West Indies approached their task with confidence, never looked under pressure at any stage, and comfortably won with the benefit of 5.2 overs in reserve. (HG)
