Barbados’ cricketers Barbados’ cricketers are the kings of the WICB Regional Under-19 three-day competition.
The local boys were crowned champions after their top-of-the-table, fifth- round match against Guyana ended in a draw at the Desmond Haynes Oval, Black Rock yesterday.
Barbados, who started the match half-point ahead of Guyana, finished the tournament with 45.5 points
– 7.5 more than their challengers.
It was the fifth time in six occasions that Barbados won the tournament on home soil following their successes in 1984, 1988, 1999 and 2008.
