Barbadian on drug charges

A BARBADIAN IS SCHEDULED to appear in court today to answer charges of trafficking and importation.
Richard Jamar Dupres, 31, of Eastmond Land, Gunsite Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, has also be charged with possession and possession with intent to supply.
Yesterday, a Police sniffer dog indicated on Dupres’ suitcase after he arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport from Trinidad.
A search by Customs officials found a package containing cannabis, weighing 18 grams.
Dupres is expected to appear in the District A Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
