Be not afraid!

Don’t fear me!
Freshly released after 20 years of incarceration, convicted drug courier Raul Garcia is now telling Barbadians they have nothing to worry about with him being in their midst.
“People know my face. Everyone in Barbados knows what I look like. I think it would be disloyal to a country that has done so much for me to do something against it again.
“I would be ashamed to do something like that to people who have been so good to me in the last 20 years,” Garcia said during a Press conference yesterday.
Speaking publicly for the first time since earning his freedom last week Thursday, an emotional Garcia said he had started to settle down living with his surrogate family in Barbados, and had been overwhelmed with the positive support he had received from Bajans.
Garcia was released into the custody of an elderly Barbadian couple who live in St John, after High Court judge Justice Margaret Reifer ruled a deportation order bearing his name had exhausted its shelf life.
Garcia had been initially released from Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds on March 10, 2010, but had remained in the custody of the Immigration Department at a special detention centre before earning his release last week.
