Beach clean-up

NATIONAL CONSERVATION COMMISSION employees over the past few days put their energies into cleaning the popular Richard Haynes Boardwalk on the South Coast, clearing it of mounds of sand and seaweed that made it difficult to access at some points.
Recently, there were increased complaints that the boardwalk was looking unkempt.
Several people took to social networking site Facebook to vent that the beach-side was not being maintained to a high standard given the large number of people who used it daily. (ZD)
