THE HIERARCHY OF the Barbados Labour Party is meeting with its St Peter branch this evening.
BLP officials have been guarded about the event, only saying they will speak to the media following the meeting which should finish by 7:30 p.m.
However, it is expected that they will seek to ratify a caretaker for the constituency, following Owen Arthur’s sudden resignation from the party last month and his decision to finish his term as an independent representative.
St Peter is considered a BLP stronghold. (ES)
