A CATHOLIC PRIEST, Father Vibert Stevens, today advised the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) to present the country with a new social, economic and political vision.

Father Stevens said if this was not done the party would run the risk of losing a third straight general election.

He indicated that this new vision should be grounded in social democracy and should reflect a total rejection of neo-liberalism.

Father Stevens was addressing a service of thanksgiving the BLP held at St Leonard’s Boys’ School, where the 76th annual conference was continuing. (TY)
