Dwayne Bravo was a big match winner yesterday.
The Trinidadian all-rounder struck a last ball six as title holders Chennai Super Kings scraped past the Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in a nail-biting Indian Premier League contest at Eden Gardens.
Replying to the Knight Riders’ 158, the Super Kings needed five off the last ball. But Bravo held his nerve to dispatch a low full toss from Rajat Bhatia over the long on fence.
Bravo’s fellow Trinidadian Kieron Pollard also guided Mumbai Indians to victory with a vital unbeaten 52 off 31 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
