Callender launches third book

AUTHOR WENDELL CALLENDER has been lauded for his contribution to the literary space for the launch of his third book Many Sides of Barbados, a collection of adapted articles published in the NATION newspapers.
The event attended by a wide cross section of Barbadian personalities, sponsors and the Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy was held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
Editor-In-Chief of NATION Roy Morris said the book captures the mood of Barbadians and serves as an inspiration to explore the island.
Minister Sealy lauded Callender for his work which he described as reader friendly.
Meanwhile, Johnny Tudor described the book as unique and as an attraction for tourists.
Callender thanked all those who contributed to the effort and said it is also available on the internet. (JS)
