Carlos Brathwaite to lead “A” Team

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Barbadian Carlos Brathwaite was today announced as captain of the West Indies “A” team for the upcoming tour to Sri Lanka.

The 26-year-old all-rounder captained the Sagicor High Performance Centre against Bangladesh in June.

Also included in the side are Kraigg Brathwaite, who scored a maiden double against Bangladesh; Jamaican allrounder Andre Fletcher and leg spinner Devendra Bishoo from Guyana.

The “A” team tour will start next month and a full itinerary will be distributed at a later date.
