Cawmere, Springer are relay champs

COMBERMERE?SCHOOL and Springer Memorial are the champions of the 2012 Barbados Relay Fair.
Combermere won only their second boys’ title, the first since the inaugural event back in 2003.
They finished with 81 points, just two more than The Lodge School, while St Leonard’s Boys’ were third with 56 points.
Despite looking quite vulnerable in the older divisions, which were won by Combermere and The St Michael School, Springer Memorial claimed their third title overall and the second in the last three years with 83 points.
The St Michael School put up the biggest challenge but they were some distance behind on 66 points and another gap saw Combermere (44) in third place.
