CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER of the Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS) is launching an investigation into the granting of a licence to an importer to bring in two containers of chicken wings.
The BAS top man James Paul did not contain his frustration with the decision as he spoke to the media this afternoon at the Grotto.
He said there was an adequate supply of birds in the island, so there was no need for the imports.
Andrew Gill managing director of Chicken Stop Inc. also expressed frustration with action. (JS)
