It is impossible for the Police to secure the entire Island. However if there is one place they should have locked down is Bridgetown.Unfortunately this is not the case, especially the areas where the majority populace shop. You are on your own visiting Tudor street, Baxters road,High Street,Swan street,Robeuck street,The River van stand,Suttle street,Nelson Street, Fairchild street,Marhill Street,Spry street. In all those areas it will be wise to only go there if absolutely necessary and attend to your business there quickly and leave immediately on finishing. The city of Bridgetown Barbados is not a very safe place.

Frank not all of us are privileged to be on the terraces and whether you like it or not you will have to come to the trenches.. most of the vital organs that make Barbados the great country it this is located in those areas that you are asking us not to frequent. how obnoxious a request. I don’t know how you are going to get to Kensington Oval, Brandons beach, Tims, Spring Garden las lap, fore day morning, etc. Its this kind of indifference that allows a situation to become a crisis, the law is equipped to deal with the element of crime, as a responsible citizen one should be ready and willing to assist .not think that you can hide away in your high class neighborhood..mark my word, when the criminals ready that’s where they will be coming next.
