On Saturday evening, Michael “Mikey Levi” McClean was pouring his heart out at his grandmother’s funeral as he sang in tribute to her.
Only hours later, the 34-year-old’s adopted family would be the ones crying their heart out after he became the 11th person to die on the roads for the year, after a highway smash-up early yesterday morning.
According to police reports, McClean was driving his Toyota along Bennetts Road, St Thomas, on the Ronald Mapp Highway, about 500 metres north of Bagatelle Great House when he was involved in a collision with a BMW owned and driven by former West Indies cricketer and chairman of selectors, Courtney Browne.
The accident occurred around 4 a.m. (SB)
