Dear Christine,
I AM 15 YEARS OLD and still attend school.
I am in love with a young fellow who is one year older. I love him very much but even though he says he loves me, he fools around with a lot of girls.
He asked my best friend to go out with him and she went. He then asked her if he could make love to her and she refused. She said she was going to tell me, but he begged her not to.
He asks me to go places with him but I would not go. Some person told me that he said I would not free up with him. Christine, all this boy wants is love-making. He does not know me until he is ready for love.
Christine, I wouldn’t like to lose him because I think that he is the only person in the world for me. Do you think he loves me?

Dear H.B.,
No! He wants you, and it’s just a matter of time before he leaves. After all the lovemaking he can get, he will turn to someone else – as he is currently doing.
It’s utter nonsense believing that he is the only man in the world for you.
At 15 or 16 neither of you has started meeting people. Don’t be in a hurry to throw away yourself. If you become too easy, no man will want you for anything more than to satisfy his sexual appetite.
Believe me, there’ll be a lot more in store for you if you concentrate on getting all the education possible than being distracted by some shoddy affair. The latter can only bring heartache.
Get back to your schoolwork and get out among friends who will be friends and not lovers. Lovers will come later.
