Drugs found in cereal

A GUYANESE NATIONAL is expected to appear in the District “B” Magistrates’ Court today on four drug charges.

He is 42 -year-old Denroy Emroy Bailey of Baird Road, Weston, St James.

According to police, he was arrested yesterday after Customs personnel at the airport bond opened a package shipped from Canada and found compressed cannabis hidden in six boxes of cereal. 

Investigations led to Bailey who has been charged with  possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of half a kilogramme of cannabis. (PR/NB)
