FAMILY and friends of health care workers Derek and Kimberly Lovell are still trying to understand what would have caused the Geriatric Hospital orderly to kill his 27-year-old wife, a nurse at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
It was at 2:30 this morning that Kimberly’s mother Cicely Sargeant made the grim discovery of her daughter’s lifeless at the home she shared with her 45-year-old husband and their two young daughters at Alleyne Land, Bayville, St Michael.
Speculation was rife that Derek killed Kimberly following a heated argument sometime between late Saturday night and early this morning before taking his own life.
According to family members the couple were having “issues” but they had no idea it would have led to such a tragic end. (GE)
