CARIBBEAN rum and beer producers are expected to benefit tremendously from the exposure to international markets at the Caribbean Rum and Beer Festival taking place this weekend.
The festival, which brings together brewers and distillers from across the Caribbean to display their products and was conceptualised to give Caribbean distributors, brewers and distillers the opportunity to make important business connections with distributors from across the world while celebrating the region’s diverse rum and beer beverages.
“We want to provide a platform for the Caribbean rum and to integrate that with the beer products as the beer of the Caribbean is very good, so we have put it all in one location,” said Collymore.
The festival also gives participating breweries and distilleries the chance to vie for Caribbean alcohol beverage awards.
It continues today and tomorrow. (PR)
