Would it not be prudent and sensible to use dry weather to inspect, clean and repair drains and gutters are needed? Would it also not make more sense to immediately remove the weeds and refuse that have been cleared from the drains at once instead of leaving them piled up like a roadside obstacle course, just waiting for a heavy shower to wash everything BACK into the gutters again? Just give the workers some heavy garbage bags! On that note, let me me publicly praise and compliment the gentleman with dreadlocks who regularly cleans the Gun Hill roadside - he works diligently and is unfailingly polite.
