Another international newspaper has reported that oil mogul Aidan Heavey has taken Four Seasons developers to court.

The Irish newspaper Independent said yesterday that Heavey and music titan Lucian Grange, two investors in the resort project, had both filed legal actions at the Supreme Court of Barbados demanding the return of their million-dollar deposits for luxury homes.

The Independent also claims that officials of the Supreme Court had confirmed that “a series of lawsuits” had been filed against Four Seasons developers.

Just about three weeks ago, The Times of London similarly reported that both Heavey and Grange had taken court action against developers Paradise Beach Limited.

However, in a release 24 hours afterwards, the developers labelled the report as being “untrue, unsubstantiated and misleading”.

The developers charged that Grange had not taken any legal action against them.

They however confirmed Heavey’s court action, but said an amicable arrangement was being reached.
