GRANTLEY ADAMS MEMORIAL students Latisha Whitney (left) and Akeem Culpepper touched the hearts of many yesterday when they did a duet, singing the song You Don’t Know Me.The students’ voices harmonized beautifully as they entertained their schoolmates, teachers, parents and officials who attended the St Joseph school’s annual speech day and prize-giving ceremony, which was held at the school. Principal John Mascoll highlighted the school’s achievements and success over the year in his report.
In delivering the feature address, Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic principal Hector Belle pointed to the need for remedial education to be introduced at institutions that offered tertiary education.
