Gun attack

WITH SEVEN PEOPLE having been shot, the last three days were unusually bloody for Barbados. But lawmen say they are determined to apprehend the culprits.
“We are concerned about the number of shootings, and we can assure the public that we are working to get to the bottom of these matters,” said police public relations officer Inspector David Welch last night.
He called on people who saw or heard anything to come forward and assist the police.
Welch’s comments come as three young men were shot yesterday while liming in a shed in Montrose, Christ Church, even as a family mourns the loss of loved ones shot early Sunday morning in a nightclub at Newbury, St George. (CA)
