SCHERNO ROSE became the island’s fifth murder victim after being gunned down on Thursday night.

Rose, 40, a father of two, was shot as he limed outside a shop just a short distance away from his house in St Michael.

Moments later, police reportedly managed to intercept the car in which the alleged suspects were travelling in the Pine.

According to reports, four men jumped out of the moving vehicle and made an escape, leaving the car to run into a nearby wall.

Up to press time no arrests had been made. (RB) (Picture by Nigel Browne.)
