Health And Safety Day at NSC

NATIONAL SPORTS COUNCIL EMPLOYEES were encouraged to take charge of all aspects of their health through a Health And Safety Awareness Day last Friday.
The council organized the day to remind their two hundred and 75-plus employees to pay attention to their safety and health.
It was a rainy day but that did not deter staff members, who were treated to samples and offered literature from a number of governmental and non-governmental groups and organizations set up at the council’s My Lord’s Hill, St Michael headquarters.
Personnel officer Monica Y. Osbourne told the daily nation that the council’s management organized the event to encourage staff members to learn about their physical, mental and emotional health.
