IT WAS A humbled Imani who collected her $25 000 for winning the People’s Monarch Competition earlier today.
The presentation was made during the live broadcast of Fireworks on VOB 92.9 outside the offices of sponsor Digicel in Warrens, St Michael.
Imani took the cheque in stride, but it was the extra that came as a surprise and almost reduced her to tears. Her winnings for Bacchanal Road also included a year’s free insurance of up to $75 000 for a car, $150 000 for a wooden house and $250 000 for a wall structure. (YB)
