TO JAMAICAN DANCEHALL sensations Aidonia and I-Octane, Barbados is a “home away from home.”

As such, they have pledged to pull out all the stops for their performances at Digicel Reggae Beach Party tomorrow at Brandon’s Beach.
“I call Barbados my second home . . . so every time I come to Barbados I always aim to please…,” Aidonia said while speaking to the media tonight at the arrivals lounge of the Grantley Adams International Airport.
Aidonia, along with I-Octane, Lady Saw, Raine Seville and their crew and management arrived in Barbados just before nine tonight.
“Last year was great so we plan to come and top that. We watched . . . last year’s performance and see where we couldda do things better so we gonna try to execute that.”
He planned to leave on Wednesday, so he could “chill out” on the island before heading out.
Although this was I-Octane’s third time performing in Barbados, it would be his first time performing during the Digicel Reggae Festival.
“Barbados is like my second home so I always like to perform for the people,” he said, minutes after arriving in Barbados.
Fresh from a show in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Lady Saw also promised a lot of energy. She will leave on Tuesday. (LW)
