THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL of the Barbados Labour Party moments ago confirmed that hotel executive Colin Jordan is the man identified to represent the St Peter constituency going forward.
The decision comes following Owen Arthur’s sudden resignation from the BLP last month and his decision to finish out his term as an independent representative.
The executive, led by chairman Mia Mottley and general secretary Senator Dr Jerome Walcott, is meeting with members of the St Peter branch at the Alexandra School.
Speaking from the floor, executive member Carl Boyce said the recommendation has been made to the council but other candidates would be accepted. (ES)
