The Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters (BADD) has a new chairman.
He is Barbados’ first double club champion driver Adrian Linton. He replaces Nicholas Harrison, who did not seek re-election to the committee.
Linton said he was looking forward to the challenges in the coming season.
“BADD is a young organization and is growing and things are still being put in place as we go along and I expect the new season to be a challenge to us, but we will still have the services of our former chairman,” Linton said.
Former driver Colin Goodman is vice-chairman, Noel Pilgrim is the association’s treasurer, while newly crowned champion driver Jason Downey is the new secretary.
Inesha McCaskie is assistant secretary-treasurer, with Michael “Chub” Carter as floor member on the committee and Corey Stanford and Bradley Hill as floor members on the race committee.
The first event of BADD’s new season is slated for February 16 at Bushy Park. (TT)
