Lonely woman seeks companion

Dear Christine,

I am a 57-year-old lady looking for a companion. I am very lonely. I’m from another island and have no family in Barbados. I was married but now divorced and I feel the need for a companion.

I am a quiet person, who goes from work to home and church. I do not go out to meet anyone. I’m looking for a quiet Christian gentleman, who has marriage on his mind. If there is anyone out there, who is also seeking a nice lady, he can reply.

This is not the place to put an add for a companion! My opinion! You said you go to work, church and home…maybe you should speak to members of your congregation, and see if they have friends who might be interested, and also your co-wokers. There are some dangerous things going on in this world, so along with seeking information through church and work…I would also consider a background check. Hey, many companies are doing that with their employees now! Good luck!
