Man dies in car accident

The first road fatality for 2012 occurred about 7.35 pm last night on the ABC Highway, between the Lowlands Junction and the Henry Forde Roundabout at Newton, Christ Church.
Vandell Codrington, 29 years of Kirtons #2, Kirtons, St. Philip, a driver of one of the motorcars involved in the four car accident, died in the early hours of Sunday morning at the QEH.
Driver of one of the motorcars Jermaine Douglas, 26 years, of Long Bay, St. Philip was also seriously injured. He along with the deceased were taken to the QEH by ambulances.
Also injured were driver Dwayne Blackman, 26 years of Fisherpond, St. Thomas, who complained of an injury to his shoulder; and driver Princess Foster of Flagstaff, St. Michael and her passenger Dwayne Layne of Kingsland, Christ Church who both complained of pains about their bodies.
