Met officials monitoring weather system

The Barbados Meteorological Services is advising that a Tropical Storm watch remains in effect for Barbados.
At 11 this morning, another advisory was issued, stating that the center of Tropical Depression Number 5 was located near latitude 13.0 north, longitude 54.3 west and about 340 miles, 550 km to the east of Barbados.
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 miles per hour, with high gusts expected.
On this present track the center of the system is expected to pass just north of Barbados early tomorrow morning, moving across the central Lesser Antilles late in the evening. (PR/CM)
