TEACHERS AT PARKINSON Memorial Secondary School will return to the classroom tomorrow pending an urgent meeting to be convened with the Ministry of Education.
That was the consensus following a near three-hour meeting held at the Barbados Union of Teachers Merry Hill headquarters this morning.
Almost 40 of the 61 staff from The Pine, St Michael school, including deputy principal Maxine Mayers, attended the meeting.
Principal Jeff Broomes was also away from school today, and following a visit from deputy chief education officer David Clement and two senior education officers school was closed just after midday. (YB)
