“ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY!”
Those words last night from contractor Al Barrack, who made it clear that if Government fails to keep its promise to credit his bank account with $5 million when he checks today, expect more action at the Warrens Office Complex building.
His comments followed a lockdown of the multi-storey building in St Michael yesterday that kept scores of public workers from more than 15 Government offices shut out for almost three hours after Barrack, in protest action, padlocked the entrances to the building.
“I will do what I have to do. It will be a different kettle of fish, but I believe they (Government) get the message – it is loud and clear,” Barrack told the DAILY NATION yesterday. “The building is mine and you can’t control or tell me what to do.”
